I asked lots of questions about what she thought the point was and she didn’t didn’t have a real answer. I asked about dependent variables and independent variables in both kid-speak and actual science terms and she was like

I’m not sure what the point of BCPS 5th grade science is. My kid had to bake three batches of cookies where the butter was solid, softened, and melted respectively. First, the recipe was terrible and this was made from my semi-pro baking whiz kid. Second, where’s the science?

I made the suggestion last year that .@mtamaryland switch from tickets for one ride to ones that last 90 minutes to make quick trips convenient. The new Charm App supports that and a ticket I pulled said “90 minutes”
